This kind of surgery ain’t cheap. Reports indicate that the cost is somewhere around $4,000 and that’s just for the procedure itself (not including anesthesia, after care, etc.). 

You could get

a pretty nice used car, pay your mortgage a couple of months or put a dent in your credit card debt for that same amount. (Just to put some things into

perspective.)

Here’s something you might not have thought about: once you get a boob job, you’ll have to go back for another. Not the next year, but every 10 years or so.

Whether you go the silicone or saline route (most opt for silicone, by the way), they tend to weaken over time or possibly the scar that develops from the surgery gets

so thick that it can warp the shape of your breasts. Yep. There’s upkeep.

Surgery itself comes with risks. That’s just the way it is. And if you’re someone who wants to go from an A to a DD, that can’t realistically happen in

one surgery. You’ll have to go through the same procedure every couple of years to get the results that you want.

Also, if breast cancer or obesity is in your family

history, that’s cause for pause. Your doctor will probably discourage you from the procedure because it can increase your chances of having complications and even getting cancer someday yourself.

What woman wants this?! It can happen with a breast augmentation, though. That’s because sometimes your nipples have to be detached and readjusted and that can affect the nerve endings

in your areola department. They might end up looking good, but things may not feel the same. Literally.

If you’ve already had babies and closed up shop, this one won’t be that big of a deal. But if you see a baby in your future and you want

to breastfeed, a boob job might just prevent that. The procedure may require areola incisions and that could affect the ducts that help to produce milk.

Ask a guy you know if he prefers fake or real breasts. We’re pretty sure he’s going to say real. We won’t lie, the right doctor can give you amazing

“new girls”, but not much can be done for how much they don’t feel like natural breasts tissue.
