Dairy Queen and Rita's Italian Ice know that the first day of spring is something to celebrate — so in honor of the change of seasons, both restaurants are giving out FREE frozen desserts today.

According to BuzzFeed, Rita's has been giving out free desserts on the first day of spring for the past 25 years because it believes in celebrating "the everyday moments that make life special," per an official statement from its CEO.
