Gallery: This Is What Disney Princesses Look Like Marching For Women's Rights
We've seen Disney princesses do just about everything at this point. We've seen them portray Rose from Titanic, Allie from The Notebook, and our favorite popstars from the '90s/2000s. More recently, we even got the opportunity to see them lose their healthcare.
But we've never seen Disney princesses like this before. In this series of illustrations, we get to see Disney princesses marching for women's rights. All of their protest signs feature quotes from the film they star in, which adds a whole new level of realism to the illustrations. Spoiler alert: it's awesome.
Jasmine fought for her right to love. Tiana fought for her right to work. Belle fought for her right to excel. Mulan fought for her right to...well, fight. Every single Disney princess fought for their rights in their respective films, so it would only make sense that they would fight for women's rights in the real world, right?
Thanks to Portland-based artist Amanda Allen Niday, we now get to see what our favorite Disney princesses would look like if they marched at the Womens March and as expected, it's magically satisfying. You can purchase her prints featuring the princesses individually or a print featuring all of them.
