Claim your territory! You must have a sign letting everyone in the house know this is your space and they aren't welcome. Don't let your lady talk you into letting

her come in and tidy up a bit because then it'll no longer be your man cave, but a spot where she host her book club meetings. Don't fall for

this trick. #NoThanks 

No man cave is complete without music. Whether it's a sound system or bluetooth speaker...you need some tunes. During commercial breaks crank the volume up and turn up!

During off season, when the games aren't on, you still need some man time. Me time. Alone time. And time with the fellas to just kick it old school style.

Make sure your man cave has a deck of cards or domino set so you and the fellas can have a good ole mid week trash talking session...it's good for

the soul.

Okay so you're gonna need food in the man cave. Chances are you nor your friends are gourmet cooks, but you do have that leftover pizza and wings.  And you're

a wiz at microwave popcorn. With a microwave on hand, you can easily warm up snacks and keep the party going until the breaka breaka dawn.

Since you're going to be spending most of your time in your manly sanctuary (AKA mantuary), you need to make it feel like home. Hang some of your favorite sports

jerseys on the wall. If you're not into sports, decorate the walls with things you like...cars, tech stuff, history's greatest men...whatever your passion is. Just make it all your own...cuz

most likely it's the only room in the house you're gonna be able to hook up exactly like you like it. #DoYou 

Picture this...you've just walked in the door and boom...your girl and 3 of her friends are huddled on the sofa watching the latest chick flick. No worries because you've got

your DVD collection in your man cave. Spend the night watching your favorite sitcoms or action packed thrillers. Make sure to get your faves on DVD because streaming services may

not always have what you want. 

Sure, red solo cups are fine, but not for that 15-year-old aged single malt scotch that you've been saving for a special occasion. Invest in some quality drinking glasses. 

Look we've all seen those expensive looking man caves on pinterest (no judgment here brah everybody loves pinterest) but those italian leather sofas cost major cash. When you're not looking

to drop that much on furniture for your man cave just buy some folding chairs. Your boys won't mind and you can take them on the go to the tailgate. 

This is a easy one to forget, but man, is it necessary. All man caves can get a little messy when the homies show up. Once everybody gets lit, and

goes home, don't be left with the mess. Purchase a large sized trash can and maybe pay a little more for those scented trash bags. The all you have to

do is take the trash out. Easy breezy. And you keep wifey happy. #GameOver
