Part of what makes the hood so special is that we have our own little unique section of hood snacks to call our own. From Pixie Sticks to Kool-Aid, pickles and bags of Flamin’ Hot popcorn, the corner store, gas station, or bodega (whatever you grew up calling it), was the plug and faithfully supplied what you needed.
