When you're the President of the United States, you'll probably receive some backlash for everything you do. That's what happens when you hold the fate of millions of people in your (tiny) hands. 

However, if you're the President of the United States and you have a misogynistic track record, you should probably not be tweeting about your "tremendous respect for women." Especially if you once said you could "grab them by the p*ssy."

On Wednesday morning, Trump decided to give International Women's Day a shoutout on Twitter.

If you don't know Trump's history with women, there's nothing wrong with his tweets. However, it's no secret that our current President has a track record of sexist and misogynistic behavior. With that said, Twitter did not hold back when Trump claimed he had "tremendous respect for women."
