The amount of time people spend on social media nowadays is getting out of control. The average person will spend more than five years of their lives on social media, according to a study by influencer marketing agency Mediakix.
“Mediakix calculated average time spent per day on YouTube (40 minutes), Facebook (35), Snapchat (25), Instagram (15) and Twitter (one) and projected those figures out over a lifetime, arriving at a total of five years and four months.
When you really stop to think about it, that’s a lot of time. And probably at least half of that time is spent posting selfies and/or talking about your relationship.”

Hey, don’t shoot the messenger. We’re not trying to rain on your parade, we’re just bringing you the facts. Our advice? Go a couple of weeks without saying much about your relationship.
