Some women might say that a man who’s wealthy or a man who has fame is sexy. We prefer to go with the word “ambitious” because that shouts out all

of the fellas who have goals and are working each day to reach them. He might not have a ton of money in the bank or thousands of Instagram followers.

But what he does have is desire, some drive and the focus each day to make his dreams a reality. A man with a plan and then the talent and skill

to make it come to fruition? Any man like this is most certainly sexy!

Not every man wants---or even needs---to rock a suit. That’s not what we mean. We’re just saying that if he has a fade, it’s regularly cut or if he has

a beard (ooo wee!), it’s trimmed. Whether he’s got on Oxfords or Pumas, they’re clean and his clothes fit his physique well. If it is a suit, it’s tailored. If it’s

a graphic tee, his build looks hot in it. Yeah, a man who cares about his appearance is very much sexy.

There’s nothing wrong with a man who is sensitive. That usually means that he’s proactive and attentive when it comes to your needs and we DARE you to say that’s

not sexy! Being sensitive, by definition, means that you are “aware of and responsive to the feelings of others”. 

A sensitive guy is the one who sees you walk past

something in the mall that you like in October and gets it for you for Christmas. He’s the kind of man who can hear in your voice that you’re having

a bad day and shows up to your house with flowers. He’s the one who has no problem saying “I’m sorry, how can I make it better?” when he hurts

your feelings. Some women may write this off as simply being a “nice guy”. But trust us, honey. Go through a few bumps and bruises in relationships and this kind

of dude is the type of sexy you’ve been praying for your entire life.

A man who is strong, courageous and flat-out bold? He is also sexy. He knows what he believes in and he speaks out and stands up for it, without hesitation

or apology. When you’re around this kind of person, he makes you feel safe. Like you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Yep. Mad sexy.

We love this video right here because this guy is a cutie pie, but he also has lots of energy and enjoys having a good time. A man who likes

to have a good time (at the right time and place, of course) is also really sexy. He’s the one who gets you out of a bad mood, can make

you laugh for hours on end and is always coming up with something new to try. Spontaneity is the spice of life. Anyone who can bring out the FUN in

you? Don't sleep. He’s super sexy.

This pic? It’s eye candy. Not every man is going to look like these two. It’s unfair to expect them all to. The overall point is that it’s sexy when a man

cares about his mental, emotional and physical well-being. He prays or meditates to keep himself centered. He cherishes his relationships with other people. He eats right and exercises. Shoot, he

even goes to counseling if he knows there’s an issue that needs to be addressed. 

Bottom line, he wants to be his best self and will do whatever’s necessary to make

that happen. This kind of man is not always the easiest to find. If you have one, tell him tonight “Baby, you are so sexy to me.”

Tell me that this man crying as his bride is walking towards him is not sexy! Whether he’s your physical type or not, him making a lifetime commitment to the

woman he loves and not being afraid to show his emotions why he does it? This is the I-thought-it-was-only-in-the-movies kind of sexy! A man who can commit to one woman is

a man who is secure in himself and what his lady brings to his life. 

Don't just go for over six feet and built. A lot of attractive men are also womanizers.

After a while that gets old. Besides, a guy who’s too scared to settle down is immature. We don’t typically call children “sexy”.

A man reading a book. A man with an extensive vocabulary. A man who can talk to you about world affairs, the features on NPR and then what’s on blogs

like VSB and Bossip---something about him is also quite sexy. Having a degree? For some women, that too is sexy. But we personally think there are

all sorts of ways to gain wisdom and knowledge. So long as the brotha is a student of the planet and seeks knowledge and can hold a decent conversation on

the regular---college grad or not, he’s sexy in our book.

Short ‘n sweet here. HE HANDLES HIS BUSINESS. Work. Family. Finances. Otherwise. Automatically, this kind of man is SUPER SEXY. (And one of our favorites!)

Romance and chivalry are not dead. A man who is the truest essence of sexy has both. He not only knows how to woo a woman but loves everything about

it, simply because he likes to see her eyes light up. If you’ve got a guy who plans dates, road trips and writes you texts and mails cards for no

reason, lock him down or someone else will. He’s the very best kind of sexy!
