“You have died of dysentery.” 

Is there anything more aggravating than hearing/seeing that phrase?  No, of course not. And seeing it now probably brings back feelings of fond nostalgia and outright confusion at what exactly dysentery even was. Spoiler: it was BAD. 

But guess what? You may have forgotten, but there were TONS of ways to die in the classic Oregon Trail game you used to play at the computer lab in DOS. Let’s take a look at some of the worst, ranked according to just how bad they were IRL. Because when it comes learning about ways to die in Oregon Trail, we want it to be as realistic as possible. That’s the point of the game, right? Right?
