Because your best friend can do both. You enjoy each other's company so much that you can do basically everything imaginable together, but you both are also perfectly content with

doing absolutely nothing. 

Your best friend is your #1 cheerleader. They expect great things out of you, and will always be there to be your main support system. When you feel like you can't

do anything, they remind you that you indeed CAN. 

When you're feeling insecure and you feel like the entire world is against you, your best friend is there to pick you up and remind you that you are worthy.

Sure, you get into fights ever so often, but let's face it, you can't tolerate not speaking to each other for two seconds so you end up making up anyway.

You tell everything to each other, even your deepest and darkest secrets. They never judge you and you are assured that they will take those secrets to the grave.

Sometimes you get stuck in a funk and the only person who can make you snap out of it is your best friend. They don't put up with all the sh*t

you do, and they get real with you.

When you receive awesome news, your best friend is the first person you call, and they'll probably shriek or scream for about 10 seconds because they are more excited than

You share the same mannerisms, it's actually scary. There are times that people mistake you for one another.

Your best friend will always be there for you. They will always be on your side. They will be there whenever your rant for hours on end without ever complaining
