Let's face it: if there's one thing just about everyone needs to get through a workday, it's caffeine.

Coffee, tea, energy drinks; pick your poison, but chances are you and your coworkers relish the chance to refill your mug in the office kitchen.

While many offices supply their employees with an array of caffeinated beverages—and the milk, creamer, and half-and-half to go along with them—that's not always the case.

That brings us to exactly the predicament one Reddit user, who called herself "B," found herself in.

The incident was shared by Reddit user Phantom0591 and aptly titled, "Stay away from the coffee creamer at work."

As described in her post, someone had been helping themselves to B's coffee creamer all week long.

But what they didn't know is that B had a plan for revenge, and it all came down to one key ingredient: breast milk.

That's right: breast milk.

In a risky and perhaps not totally office appropriate maneuver, B actually swapped out the coffee creamer for her own breast milk!

She went on to own up to the sneaky revenge move with a clever note taped to the creamer bottle.

"Good morning," wrote B.

"To whomever has been enjoying my coffee creamer all week... Surprise!!! You've been drinking my BREAST MILK. Hope you've enjoyed. Cheers!

-B"

She even followed it up with a cheeky PS:

"It's organic. So no worries :)"

Reactions to the post on Reddit varied greatly.

Some, like the user above, empathized with B and noted that creamer is one of the most frequently stolen office supplies.

Others doubted that B actually snuck some breast milk into the bottle, and suggested that it was just an empty threat.

Others still raised important questions, like: how did the drinker not notice the difference in consistency? And why are humans squeamish about drinking human milk, but not animal milk?

Questions aside, B's note certainly seems like enough to scare the culprit into bringing their own creamer into the office (if not forgoing creamer altogether!).

Whether the Reddit post describes a real encounter or not, though, I think we can all agree with this user's point:

Revenge is a dish best lactated.
