In this charged political climate, revealing who you voted for could get you into A LOT of trouble...at home. US spouses and partners are finding out horrible truths about significant others. It ain’t pretty.

Take retired prison guard, Gayle McCormick, for example: she left her husband of 22 years after learning that he voted for Trump. According to the Independent, the vote brought up deep seated issues in the marriage she had been missing.

McCormick isn’t the only one feeling slighted by a loved one. Nope, there are a ton of relationships out there that have taken a nosedive post-election. Let’s take a look at some particularly brutal ones.
