Many people in their 20s dread their 30th birthday.

The milestone birthday is often seen as the beginning of a new era and an entry into true adulthood, or, more dramatically, the death of youth.

Well, that's exactly how Mila Blatova saw it, and she used the opportunity to throw herself the most fabulous party of all time. Or, as she put it, a "funeral for her youth."

In a now-iconic photo she shared to Instagram on March 20, 2018, Mila made it clear that she's not afraid of letting the world know she has officially entered her 30s.

Instead, she celebrated it in style: fierce, unapologetic, all-black style, that is. She marked the occasion with black lipstick, black leather pants, black liquor, and black balloons.

The photo has since inspired similar remakes on social media and a slew of positive comments from her Instagram followers.

Mila was quick to reassure others who are on the brink of turning 30 that it's not so bad at all. According to UNILAD, her advice is to "make the most of it and don’t be afraid of still having fun regardless of your age."
