Gallery: You LOVE to Work Out. Your Wife? She HATES It. Here's the Middle Ground.
When two people are dating and falling in love, there are so many things that they tend to overlook. Think back to when you were courting your wife, for example. She was beautiful, right? So beautiful that you probably didn’t spend a lot of time trying to figure out what she did to get---or stay---that way.
Then you got married and realized that every morning that you got up to go to the gym, she would kiss you good-bye and roll back over. Every single day. Yep. It became clear that you love them gym. Her? Not so much.
If deep down that bothers you, to a certain extent you’re justified. Exercise keeps us all healthy. It reduces our risk of heart disease and other ailments. It decreases our stress levels while giving us more energy so that we’re more productive throughout the day. It keeps us more flexible and tone. It even helps us to get more sleep so that our bodies can rejuvenate at night. As a husband who loves your wife, you’re only helping her by encouraging her to work out.
But what if you’ve given her the health speech before and she looks at you like you’re speaking broken English. Is there anything you can do to bring her more into this part of your world?
