Ex-boyfriends come in a range of emotion. When we think back on them, we don’t know why we let them sit next to us in Starbucks, let alone dated them. Oh, but then there are some who, whether we openly admit it or not (and if you’re married, hopefully not), they still get under our skin in a semi-major way. Memories of them still give us butterflies. When someone brings them up, we can’t help but wonder what they’re up to. And if they happen to reach out, even if we claim it’s “innocent”, we can’t help but to respond.

It might sound romantic, but do you know what it actually is? The clear signs of an emotional affair on the horizon with good odds of those turning into full-on affairs. Nothing good comes from that.

If you’re married and recently reconnected with your ex and still miss him, you’re human. It happens sometimes. Accept that and then put some protective steps into place.

Remember, your ex is your past.

Your spouse is your present.

Be wise so that who you actually married will also be a part of your future.
