For the first year or so, post-baby, he’s adjusting and so are you. Be kind to your body by not trying to squeeze into lingerie that may not fit (or fit the

way you want it to) right now. Use this as a good of a time as any to purchase some new pieces. Ones that make you feel confident in your skin

and will make him perk up and ask “Is that new?” Get a couple of pieces in his favorite color. Automatically he’ll get the hint that it’s not something you

plan on just sleeping in.

You’re both going to need to ease back into things. Luckily, there are some positions that are proven to be better following birthing a baby than others. Spooning keeps his

weight off of your body if you’re still sore in some areas. Being on top helps you to control the depth of penetration and the speed of the act itself.

Sitting up is hot too because it keeps your breasts from getting on your nerves if you’re still lactating. Experiment. Have a blast doing it.

He’s your husband. This means that there shouldn’t be any rush. So don’t. Take as much time in the foreplay department as you need or want. Since your hormones are

still getting back to normal, you’ll probably need more time anyway so that you won’t have to rely on lubrication (as much) in order to make intercourse happen. And don’t

a lot of us enjoy foreplay the most anyway?

You're not doing anything for your sex life by keeping your baby in the bed! If they are still only several weeks old, go with a co-sleeper or bassinet in

the room. But try and get into the habit of leaving your own bed for you and your hubby. It’ll make him feel like the baby hasn’t taken over the

ENTIRE house and will make getting in a quickie or two so much easier to do.
