Quiz: Can You Tell Which Potato Chip Flavors Exist In Real Life?

Ah, the potato chip. What would life on Earth be without it? To most of the human race, this salty bit of Heaven is simply the world's greatest snack food (apologies to burritos and frozen yogurt—you came close). But to a select few food inventors, the chip is the canvas upon which they paint their tasty, tantalizing, and sometimes straight-up twisted culinary masterpieces. 

Which brings us to this quiz. We've scoured the globe (okay, the internet, but it's global so it totally counts) to bring you 40 of the strangest chip flavors planet Earth has ever seen. Then we conjured 40 more from our imaginations. Now it's up to you to figure out which chips are the real deal and which are just products of our warped little brains. Ace this quiz, and you'll be all that and a bag of... well, you know. 

Two caveats: First, our definition of "potato chip" includes the [ahem] “cornier” grain-based chips like Doritos and Pringles, but not non-chip snacks such as pretzels, pork rinds, onion rings, and cheese puffs (sorry Mountain Dew Cheetos, you're out). Second, we THINK the fake flavors we've dreamed up are indeed fictional, but we can't be 100% sure someone somewhere hasn't invented them for real. Truth is stranger than fiction, after all. It tastes better, too… usually, at least.
