If YouTube viewing figures are accurate, then we as a society have an insane fixation on cute cats. That little bit of cat trivia tells us that we’ve always been obsessed with felines. And, you know what, history backs us up. Cats have always been an important part of human society, from being seen as gods in feline form to straight up demons (so not shocking). 

After spending the majority of your adult life watching cat videos you might think it's time to get to know them.
