From rated G kiddie films to violent action thrillers, Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a. “The Rock,” seems to be in everything. But whether the story be comedy, an animated fare, or rousing thriller, he pretty much plays the same character every time. Sometimes with pretty much the same outfit. 

Johnson began making a name for himself as a wrestler in 1996 and moved into movies in 2001. (Well, 1999 if you count being featured in the documentary “Beyond the Mat” in 1999.) Since then, he has shared the screen with everyone from Mark Wahlberg to Julia Andrews, from tiny little girls to really big apes...but even so, The Rock pretty much ends up playing the same guy with the impeccable pecs and blindingly white smile. So here, we pay tribute to the man, the myth, and legend—to test how well you know you know the difference among the roles he’s played.
